Robert Rettore - Principal
Robert Rettore CA, FTIA, Registered Tax Agent
Having worked in public practice for over thirty five years, Robert Rettore intimately understands Australian taxation laws and requirements for business people.
“Taxation law is in and of itself a complex and ever changing field, which is why I have chosen to specialise in it. Having this component of your business properly structured underpins every other aspect of your financial health. I have found that spreading my focus across other elements of accounting dilutes my effectiveness in this vital area of business life.”
Robert is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & New Zealand and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. He has worked in public practice for over 35 years, as a partner/principal since 1996.
“I primarily practice in the small to medium corporate business area in respect of companies with turnovers up to $50 million per annum, and inclusive of the Australian subsidiaries of multi-national corporations. Taxation compliance in this sector is involved and complex. Throughout my career, I have developed a thorough understanding of the nuances at work, and I think this has played a very large part in the growth of my practice. My clients trust that I am across every aspect of their business from this perspective.”
Robert advises his clients on acquisitions and disposals of businesses to both multinational and local purchasers and vendors. This includes investigations into, and valuations of businesses in industries and professions as diverse as retailing, wholesaling, publishing, advertising, manufacturing and property development.
Robert is experienced in corporate restructuring for succession purposes and rearrangements for business continuance purposes. He also has extensive experience advising high net wealth individuals, with a particular emphasis on income tax, asset protection and structuring.
Originally from Sydney, Robert moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2006. He is married with three children.
